The foundation of the Deepanshu Giri scam relies on a classic bait-and-switch maneuver. Through aggressive YouTube marketing, Giri builds a persona of deep astrological knowledge. Vulnerable consumers, seeking his specific guidance, pay premium consultation fees (often exceeding ₹5,000 to ₹8,000).
However, Deepanshu Giri rarely conducts these consultations himself. Instead, clients are handed off to anonymous, uncredentialed "proxy students" identified only by numbers, such as Code 5007.
Fake Reviews & The Troll Farm
To keep this scam running, Deepanshu Giri employs a massive "troll farm." This network of proxy accounts floods platforms like Trustpilot with fake 5-star reviews while aggressively mass-reporting and deleting genuine 1-star complaints from victims.
